Privacy Policy of the EU Peers Website.
The privacy policy explains how the project consortium implementing the EU Peers project (“we”, “us”) may collect, store and process your personal data, as well as the purpose for data collection and your data protection rights. EU Peers is the project of the European Union’s LIFE Programme that received funding under Grant Agreement No. 3875032. This privacy policy on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data is based on the General Data Protection Regulation 2018/1725.
How do we collect your personal data?
We collect your personal data when you submit the application form to become the member of the EU Peers Community of Practice or subscribe to the EU Peers newsletter.
What kind of personal data do we collect?
The personal data we may collect, store, and process are:
- Your name and surname,
- Your email address,
- Your role in the organisation,
- Information about your organisation.
What do we need your personal data for?
- To send you updates and news from the EU Peers project.
- To contact you as a potential EU Peers Community of Practice member.
- To manage your registration online for our events, the data you provide on our registration forms will enable us to communicate with you about the event. Your name and surname, job position, email, organisation, and country will be included in the list of participants by your agreement.
You can unsubscribe from our newsletters and mailing lists at any time. Under no circumstance we disclose your personal data with third parties, with the exception of Government and regulatory authorities and other organisations, as required or authorised by law.
For the operational purpose of the National Communities, your data is shared with the Manager of respective community and Project Coordinators.
Data Quality
We are responsible for keeping the data up to date. The accuracy of information partially depends on the data you provide; hence, please inform us about any changes or errors to your data.
How long do we store your data?
Your personal data will be kept with us until you notify us that you would like your information to be erased. The data is stored in data centre(s) within European Union with a limited access only for EU Peers Project Consortium.
Your Data Protection Rights
- You have a right to obtain and erase your personal data from EU Peers's records
- You have a right to obtain rectification of your personal data and have the incomplete data completed.
- You have the right to object or obtain restriction of processing.
- You can receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format and transmit that data to another controller.
