On the 19 th of March 2025, the EU Peers Community in Spain held its fifth meeting, marking the second in-person gathering of the community. This time, the event took place in Madrid and began by celebrating an important milestone: the community now has over 40 members in Spain and more than 250 across Europe.
The EU Support Service for Citizen-Led Renovation (CLR) has launched a new call for enablers, offering funding to five additional organizations to support citizen-driven energy renovation projects across Europe. This initiative empowers local energy communities, one-stop shops, and public authorities to take the lead in scaling up sustainable home renovations.
In early 2025, the ManagEnergy Master Class brought together 28 professionals from 14 EU countries to explore the design and implementation of One-Stop Shops (OSS) for home renovation. Through expert presentations, interactive discussions, and hands-on exercises, participants gained practical knowledge on financial models, stakeholder engagement, and operational strategies.
Great participation and interest marked the workshop organized by EU-Peers on March 7, 2025, as part of the Key Energy fair in Rimini, the leading event in Italy for sustainable energy. The meeting provided an important opportunity to discuss the challenges and opportunities of local One-Stop Shops (OSS) for building energy renovation, a topic increasingly central in the context of European energy efficiency directives.
On February 14, the Hungarian EU-Peers community gathered for its fourth meeting organized by Energiaklub. The session brought together 16 participants, including OSS providers, as well as experts in finance, research, and policy. The discussion focused on the challenges and opportunities in Hungary’s renovation sector and explored best practices from across Europe.
Filao Labs, a member of the EU Peers consortium, has designed and is in charge of producing RenoChats, talk-shows on the subject of structuring and the best solutions on the renovation market: free interviews with the best experts on the market, to enable everyone in Europe to discover the most refined and expert thinking and studies and the career paths of the most successful players.

Europe's green transition demands an urgent scaling up of dEEp (deep Energy Efficiency as a priority) renovations. ‍ Challenge: High upfront costs hinder widespread adoption. Solution: Shifting from traditional subsidies to blended finance models within Integrated Home Renovation Services (IHRS).
The Hungarian EU Peers Community, comprised of 14 active members including six one-stop shop (OSS) providers, eight OSS supporters, and three additional participating companies, is addressing the pressing challenges in Hungary’s home renovation sector. With three meetings held so far—one in person and two online—the group is focused on advancing energy-efficient renovations through collaboration, advocacy, and practical solutions.
